About this Project

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

This website is a passion project built, curated, and maintained by a retired special ed teacher. After spending years in the classroom, I know firsthand both the incredible power of visual learning and the relentless challenge of finding high-quality, classroom-ready video lessons when you’re building a weekly curriculum.

Why This Directory Exists

Educational videos are one of the best tools for making abstract concepts click for students. But for busy teachers, finding the right video is only half the battle. Searching YouTube often means sifting through off-topic content, guessing the appropriate grade band, and spending extra time creating your own comprehension check questions from scratch.

I created this site to take that burden off your shoulders.

Every video featured in this directory is carefully selected, categorized by subject and target grade band, and paired with a built-in student worksheet and teacher answer key. Whether you need a quick hook to introduce a new topic, a structured lesson for a substitute teacher, or a review tool for struggling students, everything here is designed to be ready to use in seconds.

Built for Teachers, by a Teacher

As an educator, quality and clarity are my highest priorities. Every lesson listed here is evaluated with a teacher’s eye:

    • Clear Grade-Level Alignment: Videos and worksheets are thoughtfully matched to learning stages (K–2, 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12) based on vocabulary complexity, pacing, and depth.

    • Ready-to-Use Worksheets: Each lesson includes concise key concepts, structured comprehension questions, and a collapsible answer key for quick grading or classroom discussion.

    • Zero Extra Prep: You can print or copy the student worksheet directly into your lesson plans without worrying about missing steps or unverified answers.

A Note on How This Site Runs

This platform is a personal labor of love aimed at supporting hard-working educators, parents, and homeschoolers. To help keep this resource completely free for teachers, I utilize modern tools (including AI assistance for transcription analysis and worksheet drafting) to help process and structure lesson materials quickly. However, every piece of content is reviewed to ensure it serves a genuine educational purpose.

Have a Favorite Video Lesson?

Do you have a favorite YouTube video or creator that your students love? I am constantly adding new lessons to the directory. If there’s a video you’d like to see added—complete with a custom worksheet—please feel free to drop a recommendation using the Suggest a Video link in the navigation menu above!

Thank you for everything you do for your students every single day. I hope this directory saves you time and brings a little extra joy to your lesson planning!
